High intake of processed and red meats, sugary foods, and refined carbohydrates increases the risk of colorectal, pancreatic, and breast cancer. To reduce the risk, it is recommended to limit alcohol consumption. For women, the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism suggests no more than one drink per day, and for men, no more than two drinks per day.
